The InterDirect network was established in 1988 with a small number of direct marketing agencies who had clients with something in common. The need for a network of agencies that could provide specialist help and advice on cross-border direct marketing. Such was the success of the original concept that we have now grown into a highly organised network employing over 1500 people and with a growing membership base to meet this client driven need.
Agency membership is by selected invitation only, with one member per country. Member agencies must meet the following criteria:
- The management must be independent (preferably management owned)
- They must have the ability and experience to develop international direct marketing campaigns
- They must have an excellent client list
- They must offer a broad base of services, including Strategy, Planning and Database Consultancy
- They must consistently meet the highest standards of creative execution
- They must have the ability to work across a broad range of response media
Above all, they must be independent Direct Marketing specialists, with a proven record in their own markets.
Clients for whom the network has recently worked on cross-border campaigns include British Airways, Compuserve, Glenfiddich, Hapimag, Nilfisk, Shell, Walt Disney, Microsoft, Monroe, G.N.Netcom and Volvo.
